FWP Game Warden Perry Brown is still looking for tips on two elk cases. On Tuesday, October 21, Brown found two elk that were shot and left near Hungry Horse Dam. Brown estimates that the elk were shot either late the night before or very early Tuesday morning, October 22.
In another case, Brown said that there were suspicious circumstances about a bull elk found dead near Emery Creek on the east side of Hungry Horse Reservoir on Thursday, November 13. The antlers had been cut off.
Anyone having information can call Brown at 752-5501, or 1-800-TIP MONT. Callers do not have to identify themselves and a cash reward may be available.
